Back in the day, Mondays were wash day. After a big Sunday dinner, the week got of to a simple start with a clean house and a big hearty pot of red beans and rice. A New Orleans wash day tradition.

Green gumbo full of leafy greens, vegetables and no meat.
oxtail Yakamein
"Ole sober". Not quite Pho nor ramen and not just soup. Asian persuasion with Creole flair. Oxtails, noddles, boiled egg in beef broth. Addon's include shrimp, crabmeat, and collard greens.
